REGISTRATION: Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number. Points may be claimed after the registration number is assigned, but only for the first show where the cat didn't have a registration number in the catalog. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored. All Korats (kittens, cats, alters), Provisional New Breed, Advanced New Breed and New Traits entries must be TICA registered to be shown.

SHOW SERVICES: The club will provide cages and litter. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, feeding and water dishes, and cage curtains. Back, top and sides of cages must be covered. Cages are approximately 22" x 22" x 22" - single; or 22" x 22" x 44" - double. Each entry is provided with a single cage. All cats and kittens present in the show hall must have an assigned cage. No more than 2 kittens or 1 adult will be allowed per single cage. A limited number of doubles will be available at an extra fee. Cats MAY NOT be left in the show hall overnight. No vending from the benching area. People food will be available.

SHOW RULES: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by all TICA show rules, and the decisions of the Judges and Show Committee. Show rules are available from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, Texas 78551, and from the TICA website http://www.tica.org Telephone: 956-428-8046.

ENTRIES: An official entry form or facsimile must be used for each entry, and a completed Summary sheet and full payment must accompany these entry sheets. Payment in US Dollars ONLY. A $10.00 charge will be added for payment drawn on a foreign bank. The Entry Clerk will call collect if there are any significant questions about your entry.

CATALOG ADVERTISING: Black & white, camera ready copy must be provided by date 1 April 2009. Prices are listed on the attached summary sheet.

BENCHING REQUESTS: Benching requests must be indicated on the summary sheet and will be honored whenever possible. Please, do not ask to bench with more than one person.

ADVERTISED HOURS: The advertised hours of the show to the public are from 2:00 PM through 8:00 PM on Friday, and 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. All cats must remain in the show hall until the advertised show closing unless written permission is obtained from the show manager.

AWARDS: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded in all rings in accordance with TICA rules. Special awards will be presented where offered.

HOUSEHOLD PETS: HHPs will be judged in all twenty rings. All HHP adults must be registered with TICA in order to claim titles, Regional and International awards. If you are unsure of your cat's color or division, please send a photo with your entry.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: This is a Non-Vetted show. All cats and kittens entering the show should be inoculated against panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis and calici virus and tested negative for feline leukemia. Maryland law requires cats have a current rabies vaccination. Claws on all four feet of all entries must be clipped prior to entering the show hall. Any cat showing signs of a contagious illness, ear mites, fleas, or fungus will be removed from the show hall together with all of the cats from the same household.

CATS FOR SALE: Sale cages (double) are available for an additional fee of $45.00. Only one cat or two kittens per single cage. Kittens must be at least 3 calendar months old; proof of age is required. Sale cages are available to exhibitors only. No Kittens or Cats may be confined to carriers during the show. Any person disregarding this rule will be asked to leave. No "For Sale" cages are allowed in the vendor areas.

CLERKS: If you are available to clerk, please complete the appropriate area on the Summary sheet. Ring clerks will be paid $35.00 daily. Clerks will be paid at the conclusion of the show. Please, DO NOT deduct clerking fees from your entry fee.

STEWARDS: Please indicate on the Summary sheet if you know someone who is interested in serving as a steward for either Friday, Saturday, or all three days. Stewards will be paid $30.00 daily. A meal will be provided.

LIABILITY: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry/summary sheet holds Potomac Area Cat Enthusiasts, the Show Hotels, The International Cat Association and Laurel Park Race Track harmless from any damages, claim, or theft, as a result of any action/conduct related to the show. The only animals allowed in show hall are cats and assistance dogs.

MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL FUND: A donation of $1.00 per cat will be donated to the Mid Atlantic Regional Fund. Additional donations are gratefully accepted. Thank You.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER BUFFET: There will be NO Friday night buffet. There are several food vendors in the grandstand area.

CHECK-IN: Friday 12 noon - 1:45 PM. Saturday 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM. You are welcome to set up prior to this time, once the benching is done. However, check-in will not begin prior to these posted times.
