Hillside Debonair Dude X Hillside Lady Spice

Melange had her name before we crossed back into the U.S. from selecting her at Hillside Cattery in Ottawa, Canada. Melange is the name given the geriatric spice in Frank Herbert's Dune series. With the Science Fiction Channel doing a new mini-series on Dune, and a new Dune trilogy being published, we kinda had Dune on the brain. Mel's mother's name is Lady Spice, and Mel is a rich golden brown, so the name Melange seemed appropriate.
