When it came time to name Tahiti, the answer actually came fairly easily.
Tahiti's mother is Viennese Cinnamon, a "hot" brown torbie named after the
coffee flavor in Men in Black.
I had recently finished reading Twenty Blue Devils by Aaron Elkins,
at the time the most recent Gideon Oliver book.
As Cinny was named for coffee, so was her daughter, named for the premium blend
of coffee featured in the book. Note: We learned our lesson with Demon -- we never even considered having a cat with call name "Devil." |
