Ace's mother is named for an elf, and when she had an entire litter of mackerel tabbies (which Elektra refers to as "racing stripes"), all the kittens were named for characters from the SERRAted Edge, who are elves racing cars. Keighvin Silverhair is the head of the elfhame Fairhaven, and a powerful warrior and mage.
