SGC,RW BlueBlaze Keighvin Silverhair, aka "Ace" is the senior stud in
residence at BlueBlaze.
Ace is a silver mackerel tabby and white, born 20 July 1998.
He had an impressive show career, and is the
most successful male cat we have ever shown.
The highlights included Best of the Best Kitten in Show at the
Catastrophic Cats show in Downingtown, PA on 5-7 March 1999.
At the Penn-Jersey Cat Club show in Secaucus, NJ, held on 9-11 April 1999,
Ace was overall Best of the Best Maine Coon Cat in Show, and Best Maine Coon
in the Maine Coon Congress judged by Joe Edwards.
Ace became a supreme grand champion at the Burlington Cat Fanciers show,
on 12 June 1999.
He received his Best Cat from Massimo Picardello.
Ace has produced numerous litters of wonderful kittens here at BlueBlaze.
Ace was tested for the MybPC3 gene mutation
[HCM DNA test]
by the Veterinary Cardiac Genetics Laboratory at Washington State University
and found negative.
